She is survived by: her sons, David John Wilson, Jr. (Ellen), Robert Owen Wilson and Captain Benjamin Wade Wilson (Amy); her sister Decoma Daughtry; her grandchildren, Bryan, Robert, Steven, Bradley, Anthony, Tonya, Peggy (Jay) and Christopher (Angelina); her great grandchildren, Rhylee, Chance, Ryker, Robyn, Regan, Bayla, Annemarie, James, Chad and Kamryn; and her great great grandchild Ka'vora.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the local VFW #3034, the Sumter SPCA, or the local police department in her memory.
