He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Mathis Grinnell; and his parents, Grant Grinnell, Sr. and Carrie Singleton Grinnell.
Viewing was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Job's Mortuary (312 S Main St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Salem Chapel & Heritage Center (101 S Salem Ave, Sumter, SC 29150).
