We are sad to announce that, on March 20, 2023, at the age of 86, Harold Lewis Thompson (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Roanoke, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Mason Thompson and Minnie Frances Ferguson Thompson; and his brothers, Dudley Thompson and Buddy Ray Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Donna Dukes (Joe) of Sumter and Buddy Thompson (Becky) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Charlie Thompson (Caroline) of Alcolu, Evan Thompson of West Columbia, Megan Gash of Taylors and Sara Renner of Sumter; and his siblings, Doris Hollingsworth of Vinton, VA, Paul Owen Thompson (Shirley) of Roanoke, VA. and Joyce Martin of Roanoke, VA.. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
