With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Davis Thomas (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Earl Thomas; her parents, Bingham Davis, Sr. and Earlene Brown Davis; and her granddaughter Hanna Marie Thomas. She is survived by: her sons, John A. Thomas of Sumter and Richard "Rick" E. Thomas of Sumter; her granddaughters, Kristin Arnette Thomas and Samantha Deanna Kirk; and her brothers, Bingham Davis, Jr. (Rosa) of Bishopville, Bobby Davis of Bishopville and Francis Davis of Bishopville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
