He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnson Scriven and Fannie Davis Scriven; and his wife Mamie Lee Butler Scriven. He is survived by: his children, Gloria Jean Scriven McFadden, Deborah Ann Scriven Brock, Sandra Arleen Scriven Lemon, Pamela Darnell "Buffy" Scriven Weston, Henry "Ricky" Scriven, Jr., Anthony Scriven (Janis) and Michael Kenny Scriven; his grandchildren, Tamika Scriven Goss and Takisha Lemon; his sister Anna Green; his nephews, English Scriven (Christine) and Henry "Jackie" Scriven (Lynn); his adoptive son David McDonald (Terri); and his close friend Drefus Williams. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
