He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bert Pershay, Jr. and Rosa Lee Mark Linton; his wife Elizabeth McCauley Mark; his sons, Herbert Jr. (Makeisa) of Sumter, Travis (Brandy) of Sumter and Keith of Sumter; his siblings, Mae Frances (Tony), Elizabeth, Emma and Robert (Nora) of Fayetteville; his uncles, Sonny and Roy Pershay; his aunt Ruby Pershay; his siblings-in-law, Elease McDuffie, Sybil McMillian, Eartha McCauley, Willie McCauley, Jerry McCauley and Frank McCauley; and his granddaughters, Jalani Heyward, Mariah Mark and Destiny Regan. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 3915 Colony Circle, Sumter.
