He was predeceased by: his parents, John Epps Follin, Sr. and Maria Louise Geddings Follin; and his brother John Follin. He is survived by: his children, Herbert Follin, Jr. of Sumter, Louise Follin of Sumter and Kara Follin of Palm Desert, CA; his siblings, Richard Follin (Dale), Jim Follin (Linda), Terry Follin (Diane), Lila Blackmon of Sumter, Jean McIntosh of Sumter and Lucy O'Hare (Tom) of Sumter; and his stepdaughter Miriam Alcaraz of Sumter. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
