It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Wasteen Crawford of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Patterson, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Irvin and Elsie Lorine Harris Crawford; his wife Jearline Luke Crawford; his son-in-law Don Reynolds; his grandson Justin Reynolds; his siblings, Clara Kimbrell and Paul Crawford; and his brothers-in-law, Morris Henderson and R. O. Kimbrell.
He is survived by: his children, Kay Reynolds of Jacksonville, FL and Alan Crawford (Jennifer) of Sumter, SC; his siblings, Naomi Henderson of Waycross, Robert Crawford (Karen) of Blackshear and Wayne Crawford (Teresa) of Waycross; and his grandchildren, Hope Hernandez (Edgar), Faith Sims-McGinley (Scott) and Zachery Crawford (Sara). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
