He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Harold Barfield and Shirley Grace Gregory Winn; and his stepfather Jack Winn. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Coward Barfield; his siblings, Greg Barfield of Greenwood and Lisa Barfield of Greenville; his stepsiblings, Jimmy Winn (Lisa) of Edgefield and Debbie Lancaster (Tommy) of Columbia; his cousin Susan Polk (Chris) of Graniteville; his sisters-in-law, Sheila Wasson (Eddie) of Sumter and Robin Beasley of Sumter; his uncle Larry Gregory of Saluda; and his aunt Peggy Gregory of Greenwood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
