He was predeceased by: his parents, Colie Norton and Lester Goodyear Norton; his siblings, Betty Watts, Mildred Norton (Mousey), B. L. Norton and Jimmy Norton; and his son-in-law Rodney Hayden.
He is survived by: his spouse Arealia Geddings Norton; his children, Jamie Norton (Kaiya), Bryan Norton, Pamela K. Hayden, Brandi Huggins (Scottie) and Rusty Geddings (Ashleigh); and his siblings, Joe Norton (Barbara), Danny Norton, Margaret Jackson, Diane Caughman, Carolyn Sims and Teresa Stephens. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
