James Lee Washington Obituary

James Lee "Struck" Washington III., 65, of Sumter, SC, died Friday, February 21, 2025, at his residence.

Born on August 17, 1959, in Sumter, he was a son of Louise (Richardson) Washington, of Sumter, and the late James L. Washington. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Wesley "Buck" Washington, and a sister, Terresa M. Washington.

Mr. Washington was a kind-hearted and loving individual, deeply cherished by those who knew and loved him. In his younger years, he was an avid party-goer, enjoying festivities like white parties, and had a passion for playing cards, baseball, football, and bike riding. He also loved traveling to various parts of the country for vacations.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Louise, are a brother, Terrell L. Washington, of Keyser, WV, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home chapel.
