He is survived by: his children, Neal Welch (Candice) of Sumter, Nathan Welch of Sumter, Craig Welch (Danielle) of Sumter and Elizabeth Daughrity (J. D.) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Hannah Daughrity, Wyatt Welch, Knox Welch, Hayes Daughrity, Conway Welch, Jase Welch, Naomi Welch, Harper Daughrity and Eli Welch; his siblings, Debbie Byrd (Terry) of Durham, NC, Janet Newman (Whit) of Sumter, Danny Welch of Sumter and Violet Peele (Kenny) of North, SC; his close friends, Terry Gibbons and Mickey Blaylock Wheeler; and his brother-in-law Harmie Geddings. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
