He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Audrey Molde Wilkinson; and his former wife Gloria Mae Nyberg Wilkinson. He is survived by: his wife Marla Kay Wilkinson; his father Bruce Leroy Wilkinson; his sons, Brian Wilkinson (Betsy) of Columbia, SC and Jeff Wilkinson (Jacqui) of Charlotte, NC; his stepchildren, Richard Sweeney (Kate) of Kansas City, MO and Amanda Sweeney of Spartanburg, SC; his siblings, John Wilkinson and Judy Wilkinson; his grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Jordan and Jackson; and his stepgrandchildren, Hamza Hussain and William Sweeney.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bullock Funeral Home (1190 Wilson Hall Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel (1190 Wilson Hall Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
In lieu of flowers: Memorials may be made in his loving memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
