Jane left this world on May 17, 2026 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Cecil McGill, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Joyce Boylston; her children, Charles McGill, Celia Herring and Cathleen Monroe (Mitch); and her grandchildren, Austin Herring (Margaret), Trevor Herring, Joshua Monroe (Valerie), Rebecca Slate, Paul Monroe (Shannon), Chas McGill (Lauren), Corinne Gant (Edmond) and Zack McGill (Jessica). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
