She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh M. McLaurin, Jr. and Louise Nettles McLaurin; her grandson Christian J. Glover; and her son-in-law Bill Richardson. She is survived by: her husband John B. Duffie; her children, Louise Duffie Glover (Ron), Linn Duffie Richardson and John B. Duffie III (Kelly); her grandchildren, Will Richardson (Rebekah), Jennie Linn Richardson, John Blake Duffie (Zoe) and Taylor Duffie; her great grandchild William Shepherd Richardson; and her caregivers, Willie Mae Cokley and Nicey Bossard. She is also survived by numerous loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (9 W Calhoun St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
