He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. Atkinson and Ruby Atkinson; and his brother L. D. Atkinson, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelli Atkinson and Kelli Curry; his grandsons, Dillon Curry, Sam Atkinson and Max Atkinson; his great grandchild Colton Atkinson; and his sister Joyce Atkinson.
