He was predeceased by: his spouse Jeilda "Jill" Alice Lee Buckner; his parents, Joel Andrew Buckner and Doris Crain Buckner; and his brothers, Donald Joel Buckner and Jesse Ray Buckner.
He is survived by: his children, Jack M. Buckner of Sumter and Melissa Dawne Buckner of Sumter; his grandchildren, Jordan Michael Buckner and Jacklyn Mae Buckner; his great grandchildren, Alex Onyx Buckner, Ellena Scarlett Buckner, Cecilia Mae Coppock and Shawn Leon Coppock; and his siblings, Catherine Doris Turbeville, Barbara Buckner Eli and Jimmy Lee Buckner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
