He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton J. Brown and Dora Yates Brown; and his siblings, Herbert Brown, Edward Brown, Doris Caldwell, Lora Jordan and Mildred Gardner.
He is survived by: his sons, Lee Brown (Christy) of Myrtle Beach and Darby Brown of Sumter; his grandsons, Noah Brown and Ethan Brown (McKenzie); and his brothers, Cliff Brown, J. W. Brown (Judy) and Dane Brown (Ruth). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
