He was predeceased by: his father Mason Calhoun; his grandchildren, Gerald Alan Dunn, Jr. and Lily Anna Guzman; and his siblings, Joshua Smith, William Calhoun, Mason Calhoun Jr. and Catherine Calhoun Hilton.
He is survived by: his children, Patina Calhoun Dunn (Gerald), Jesse Joe Calhoun Jr. and LaShana Calhoun Guzman (Luis); and his siblings, Vermell Mouzon, Sandra Walker, Gloria Reynolds and Mitchell Calhoun. He is also survived by six grandsons; seven granddaughters; four great granddaughters; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 270 Geddings Road, Sumter.
