He was predeceased by: his parents, James DeVan Price, Sr. and Lonnie Barbour Price; and his sister Paula Price Scott. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Crocker Price; his sons, Wesley Brasington of Sumter, Cleve Brasington (Lisa) of Sumter, Jamie Brasington (Amanda) of Sumter and Christopher Brasington (Alyssa) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Taryn, Jeffery, Eden, Lyla, Madison, Addilynn, Holden, Amelia and Wyatt; and his siblings, Sandy Thompson (Tommy) of Dalzell and Steve Price (Ruby Tisdale) of Sumter. He is also survived by several niece and nephews.
