She is survived by: her husband Ralph Barela, Jr.; her children, Lenea Ann Barela-Lewis (Wade), Nicole Deanna Brennan (Eddie), Jared Kieran Barela (Tabitha), Kaitlin Tianna Barela-Reichert (Ryan), Ethan Jaemes Barela (Leah) and Zachery Crittenden Barela (Apisara); her siblings, Bonnie Ellen Bright (Robert), Albert "Dusty" George Bright, Jr. (Barbara) and Timothy Scott Bright (Kristi); and her grandchildren, Madeline Josephine Lewis, Oliver Rhett Lewis, Robyn Lynn Barela, Riley Ann Barela, Kieran Alexander Barela, Eirallyn Rosalie Reichert, Ezra Nathaniel Reichert, Elias Emmanuel Karl Reichert, Emmerich Iulius Reichert, Caius Luca Barela, Elliana Maeve Barela, Minerva Artis Barela and Jericho Leora Barela-Nokaew.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bullock Funeral Home (1190 Wilson Hall Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Shaw Heights Baptist Church (2030 Peach Orchard Rd, Sumter, SC 29154).
