He was predeceased by: his parents, John Algie Benenhaley and Nolia Ann Perry Benenhaley; and his sister Debra Ann Graber. He is survived by: his daughters, Shanna Benenhaley of Sumter and Kristen Benenhaley of Sumter; his granddaughter Kyleigh Benenhaley; and his siblings, Francis Benenhaley (Jodie) of Pinewood, Sheila Mayberry of Wedgefield, Lettie Appleby (Danny) of Dalzell, Pamela Holland (Sandy) of Sumter, Angela Witt (Darrell) of Dalzell and Dawn Luquer (Anthony) of England. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
