He is survived by: his children, John C. "Chip" Harvin, III (Carla) of Myrtle Beach and Tammy Harvin of Florence; his stepdaughter Lauri Beth Dowell (Kent) of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon Kutz, Hamilton Harvin Boyce (David), Jenna Whisonant (Dallas), John Conyers Harvin, IV and Cameron King; his great grandchildren, Emily Boyce, Hudson Kutz and Beckett Boyce; and his sibling's children, Susan "Mimi" Felder Mixon (Dwight) of Sumter and James Chandler "Jimmy" Felder, III (Elizabeth) of Clemson.
