She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lavan Watford and Mary Ann Lloyd; and her brother Roy Watford. She is survived by: her husband Byron "Butch" Vance; her children, Van Smith (Debby), Christopher Smith (Rachel), Douglas Vance (Melissa) and Robert Vance (Jen); her grandchildren, Lauren Smith (Shane), Ashlynn Smith (Skyler), Kristi Keller (Chase), Christopher Vance and Kayla Vance; her great grandchildren, Laney, Wyatt, Sawyer, Grainger and Parker; her siblings, Gerald Watford (Leslie), Charles Smith, Larry Smith and Mandy Hodgson (John); and her siblings' children, John Baker (Debra), Steffan Baker (Julie), Jamey Watford (Christie), Jonathan Hodgson (Sarah), Megan Smith and Alyssa Hodgson.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sumter First Church of God (1835 Camden Hwy, Sumter, SC 29153).
