She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Witherspoon and Lucille Pearson Witherspoon; her husband Joe Davis Sr.; her children, Rosetta Davis Burson, Clint Davis and Joe Davis Jr.; her grandson Justin Burson; and her siblings, Lucille "Penny" W. Reynolds, Lubertha Witherspoon, Mary W. King, Sallie "Punkin" W. Blocker, Ruth W. Brown, Ulysses "Snuke" Witherspoon, Alexander "Duke" Witherspoon Jr., Robert "Sugar Boy" Witherspoon and Nathan Witherspoon.
She is survived by: her son Bruce Davis (Briana) of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Neshonda Parr, Rochelsa Burson, Dalaya Jones, Shauna Johnson, Cortez Farmer (Santana), Corbin Farmer, Daquan Jones, Jaden Johnson and Deangelon Johnson; her great great grandchild Mason Burson; her siblings, Roberta W. Leverette of Sumter, SC and Ezekiel "Zeke" Witherspoon of Brooklyn, NY; and her daughters, Christie Simon, Cynthia Davis Kennedy, Faye Anthony, Shawn, LaVonda Johnson and Tia McDuffie. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
