With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Privette of Sumter, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Privette and Faye Privette. He is survived by: his wife Jane Privette; his brother Owen Privette of Rock Hill, SC.; his children, Brad Privette (Tonya), Amanda Tindal (Wells), Chylene Burdick (Paul), Roger Player (Kellee) and Brantley Player (Marianne); his grandchildren, Jess, Addyson, Stirling, Claire, Olivia, Austin, Bryan, Jordan, Madison, Leigha (Justin), Ryan (Nina), Ella, Will and Anna Turner; his great grandchildren, Leo, Willa, Morgan, Carter, Ella, Gianna, Harper and Harley; and his nephew Kevin. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Alice Drive Baptist Church (1305 Loring Mill Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Ken left this world as an "organ donor hero," his final wish to provide a lifesaving gift of donation through "Sharing Hope.".
