She is survived by: her parents, John Charles of St. Charles and Evalina Charles (Lula Mae) of Lamar; her brothers, Albert Durant of Bishopville and John Charles (Sherry) of Darlington; her stepbrother Sheldon Wilson (Fredrika) of Sumter; her sisters, Shalonda Washington (Ronnie) of Sumter, Tamesha Plum (Travis) of Sumter and Demetra Charles of Sumter; her stepsister Merissa; her goddaughter Tatana Bradley; her aunts, Lisa Holmes and Willie Mae Johnson; her uncle Leroy Durant; and her close friend Samantha Slater. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ephriam D. Stephens Funeral Home (230 N Lafayette Dr, Sumter, SC 29150). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barnettesville Baptist Church (106 Manville Saint Charles Rd, Bishopville, SC 29010).
