He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Smalls and John Henry Anthony. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Lee McCray Anthony; his children, Stacey Boone (Emil) of Bishopville, April Austin, Kortney Crawford of Sumter and Leroy Austin; his stepchildren, Carlos Toney of Bishopville, Gainey Anthony (Diane) of Savannah, GA, Carolyn Thompson of Grey Court and Jenifer Martin (Jackie) of Greenville; his siblings, Christian Brunson, Willie Anthony (Patrice), Jimmy Anthony Kenny Anthony and John Reese (Jane); and his grandsons, James Austin (Kimberly) of Sumter and Chris Austin of Clinton. He is also survived by two other grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 1055 Reed Roman Road, Sumter.
