She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph "Joe" Thomas Pritchard; her son Joseph Phillip "Phil" Ward, Jr; her grandson Brian Kirby Ward; and her brothers, Herman Pritchard, Gerald Pritchard, Claude Pritchard and Pete Pritchard.
She is survived by: her parent Lena Betts Pritchard; her children, Ronnie Ward of Sumter and Linda Ward Ridgeway (Ray) of Sumter; her grandchildren, Kenneth Allen Avin, Jr. (Rachel) of Ridgeway, SC, Kevin Keith Avin (Tiffany) of Sumter, Barry Lynn Ward (Mellessa) of Sumter and Danny Phillip Davis (Stephanie) of Sumter; her stepdaughter Phyllis Barrett of York, SC.; and her daughter Mere Court.
