She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Stephen Boykin, Sr.; her parents, William Doyle Welch and Corinne Elizabeth Wheeler Welch; and her brother Stanley Welch. She is survived by: her daughters, Carla Brown Thomason (Dur) of Longs, SC and Annie Brown of Sumter; her sister Brenda Welch Carroll (Jerry) of Gray, TN; her grandchildren, Ezra McLeod, Dutch and Gage Boykin; her stepson Alex Boykin, Jr. (Ann) of Bamberg; and her sister-in-law Millie Jones Welch. She is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
