She was predeceased by: her spouse Pinckney Anderson; her parents, Will Welch and Susannah Floyd Welch; her daughter Candy Marie Anderson; and her siblings, Virgie Lee Corbett, Janie Lee Welch of Mamie McAllister, J. C, W. M. Welch and Layton Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Braxton (Randy) of Alcolu and Pinckney "Roscoe" Anderson; her grandchildren, Chad Anderson (Sandra), Bobby Braxton, Wade Brown and Mariah Nunnery; her siblings, Barbara Norton, Susie Stinney, Judy Knotts, Myrtle Teal, Dorothy Bordoux and Bubba Lee; and her caregiver Nya. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
