We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2022, at the age of 76, Lois Smith Freeman (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Hartsville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Smith and Pearline Hinson Smith; her great grandchild Olivia Grace Berry; and her siblings, Elias "Gino" Smith, Mary Simmons, James Smith and T. L. Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Tammie Marie Simmons (Dwayne McCoy), Robert L. Bartlette (Kimberly Stokes), Sherrie Langley Byrd (Arthur "Marty" Byrd) and Steven Allen Bartlette (Denise Roberts Bartlette). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
