She was predeceased by: her spouse Sammie Lee Wright; and her parents, John Ely and Elizabeth Ely Watson. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Alston (Sam) of Perth Amboy, NJ, Sandres Wright, Carrie Nathaniel (Walter) of Sumter, Eddie James Wright of Irvington, NJ and Ronnie James Wright of Sumter; her stepson Herbert Wiley (Trina) of New Rochelle, NY; her grandson Ragan Wright; and her daughter-in-law Melanie Wright (S. C.) of Simpsonville. She is also survived by six sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; twelve grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 8075 Ruggs Lake Road, Rembert.
