She was predeceased by: her son Rigoberto Mendez Rivera; and her brother Carols Alberto Rivera Mora. She is survived by: her children, Carlos Edward Lopez and Maria C. Brown (Tim); her sisters, Rosibel Rivera Mona (Fernando), Mirian Rivera Mora (Eric), Ailyn Rivera Mora and Ligia Rivera Mora; her grandchildren, Dustin T. Brown (Kristin), Joshua T. Brown (Stacey), Rachel B. Brown, Rigoberto Mendez Valenzuela (Maria) and Carlos Mendez Valenzuela; and her daughter-in-law Hilda Valenzuela. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
