It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Mobley Lipscombe of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Douglas Lipscombe, Jr. and Alice Mobley Lipscombe of Sumter. He is survived by: his siblings, Emily Lipscombe of Columbia, SC and Doug Lipscombe (Chris) of Gulfport, MS; and his nieces, Sarah Lipscombe of Germantown, TN and Rebekah Lipscombe of Mobile, AL..

The family requests that memorials be given to Sounds of Grace, 3 Crowson Street, Sumter, SC 29150and Sumter YMCA, 510 Miller Road, Sumter, SC 29150.
