We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Mark Jay Schaeffer of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schaeffer and Elsie Sophia Lewis Schaeffer. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Carol Richard (Ritchie) of Destin, FL; and his brother Charles D. Schaeffer (Pat) of Portland, ME. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.
