With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene Hodge (Sumter, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Marlene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marlene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dargan A. Hodge and Mary Bartlette Hodge; and her sister Darlene Hodge. She is survived by: her brother Keith Hodge of Manning.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 2445 Old Manning Road, Sumter, SC 29150.
