She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Wiley Hatfield and Bertha Barnes Hatfield; and her siblings, Oris Hatfield, Norwood Hatfield, Hugh Hatfield, Teresa Smith, Vera Hatfield and Louise Fanning.

She is survived by: her children, Ryan Atkinson of Sumter and Sonja Marian Atkinson Sepulveda (Juan) of Sumter; her grandsons, Dru Adrian Sepulveda (Heather) of Midland and Brys Kristofer Sepulveda (Miracle) of Kirkland, Washington; her great grandchildren, Jericho Laten Sepulveda and Lyra Dorothy Sepulveda of Midland; and her sister Lois Anderson of Hopkins, SC..

Due to the pandemic a private graveside service will be held in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
