She was predeceased by: her parents, James Woodrow Stephen and Betty Edwards Stephen; and her siblings, Robert Geddings and Vivian Marie Callen. She is survived by: her son Calvin Barfield; her grandchildren, Summer Barfield, Gabriel Barfield and Cason Barfield; and her siblings, Diane Drawdy and Jimmy Stephen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
