She was predeceased by: her husband Timothy Jackson "Jack" Knowlton Jr.; her parents, Robert Harry Hamer and Mary Downie Tyner Hamer; and her sister Daisy Lee. She is survived by: her sons, William A. "Billy" Garris, Jr. (Greta) and Robert B. "Bobby" Garris (Kelley). She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
