She is survived by: her children, Diane Walters and Joe Jr. Walters (Walters); her grandchildren, Corey Walters, Latoya Walters, Franklin Walters, Quintana Walters, Shymicka Walters, Shaquelah Walters, Marcus Walters, Taylor Evans, Megan Bolden, Marcus Dyer and Mandrian Dyer; her great grandchildren, Tyniece Evans, Amil Walters, Korrie Walters, Izaiah Walters, Tyhiem Walters, Keyondre Durant Lyrica Bacote, Jaelin Riley, Kayden Mahoney, Khloe Mahoney, Kaelynn Mahoney, Cashmere Walters, O'Mari Tucker, Aaliyah Barno, Adyen Walters and Amir Barno; her great great grandchildren, Mylin Cooper, Christian Cooper and Wynter Durant; her stepsisters, Delphine Gordon (Ervin), Saddie Sharpe and Alice Champagne (Abraham); her adoptive children, Rene Wells and Dwayne Wells; her children-in-law, Catherine Goodman and Sylvester White; her goddaughter Etta Jean Abram; her niece Gloria Ann Ellerbee; her aunt Gladys Smith; and her close friend Annie Mae Wells. She is also survived by extended family, The Moses Family; four sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whites Mortuary (517 N Guignard Dr, Sumter, SC 29150). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of God (609 Atlantic St, Sumter, SC 29150). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at the Bradford Cemetery (100 Tally Ln, Sumter, SC 29150).
