Brian Gallimore wrote a sympathy message

“My condolences to family and friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Mary Kay on Friday the 23rd of October 1981 when I was welcomed to her home for a few days as her guest. I was a visiting Police Officer from Torquay, England on a travel scholarship courtesy of The English Speaking Union of the Commonwealth. We kept in touch and I welcomed each of her many Christmas letters. Her kindness and hospitality has never been forgotten. Rest In Peace Mary Kay. Much love from Brian Gallimore and family.”
