With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Mood of Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Connie Earl and Mary Laney Hinson; her sister Judith H. Rorick; her stepdaughter Jennifer Mood Pillsbury; and her brother-in-law Melvin Wallace.

She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Mood; her sister Sandra H. Wallace; her stepdaughter Leigh M. Benenhaley (Sonny); her sibling's children, Allison R. Solesby and Christopher Rorick; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, McKenzie Morehouse, Nancy Hunter Rorick, Ashley Alligood, Tommy Pillsbury and Travis Pillsbury.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Lottie Moon IMB Missions, 107 E. Liberty Street, Sumter, SC 29150.
