She is survived by: her children, Mary Brown Shaw White (Charles White) of Sumter and Paul Whitworth "Whit" Shaw (Robin) of Sumter; her granddaughters, Mary Macaulay White Smith (Speaker Murrell Smith), Mary Shaw White Finley (Justin) and Sarah Corbett Shaw; her great grandchildren, Mary Brown "Bee" Smith, George Murrell Smith, III and Charles Langston Finley; her stepgrandchildren, Matthew Berger (Lori) and Sara Tanner (Ben); her caregivers, Sandy Wheeler, Patty Joe, Patricia Gregg, Jonell Jefferson, Marsha Flowers, Chrissy Osborne, Angie Cunningham, Betty Johnson, Terri House and Melissa Nelson; Riley, Harry, Hayes and Ella.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Bi-Centennial Fund, at 9 West Calhoun Street, Sumter, South Carolina 29150.
