She was predeceased by: her spouses, Wash and Howard, Jr.; and her parents, Heyward Searson and Lucille Prince Searson.
Viewing was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Job's Mortuary (312 S Main St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church (130 Loring Mill Rd, Sumter, SC 29154).
