He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Bales (Shannon) of Murfreesboro, TN and Shannon Perry of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Austin Powell, Spence Powell, Ethan Powell, Jayden Bales, Courtney Swenson and Alex Perry; his great grandchildren, Braelyn Perry and Oakleigh Swenson; and his sister Betty W. Rickard of Sumter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
