He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar J. Geddings and Eva Frances Geddings; and his brothers, Eugene and Douglas Geddings. He is survived by: his children, Michael Geddings (Diane), Rad Weaver (Gaye) of Sumter, Gail Cooper (Gary) of Castle Rock, CO and Genie Azad of Crossville, TN; and his sister-in-law Ruth Geddings of Bellevue, NE..

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alice Drive Baptist Church in Sumter, SC.
