He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Martha Myrle Salter Wilson; his parents, Walter Glenn Wilson and Eula Florence Melton Wilson; his siblings, Roger Wilson and Barbara McMasters; his children, Sharon Wilson Dowdy (late Larry), Martha Louise Wilson (Jim Wood), Ohlen Rudolph Wilson Jr. (Mary), Walter Bradley Wilson (Amy) and Timothy Mark Wilson (Becky); his grandchildren, David Dowdy, Erin Quirk (Matt), Matthew Wood (Stephanie Mitchell), Allison Wood (Peter Ahl), Kristen Wood (Bobby Smith), Katy Wilson-Fields (Lydia), Daniel Wilson (Jenna), Lauren Payne (Taylor), Luke Wilson (Taylor), Mark Wilson (Emma), Andrew Wilson (Kylie Fletcher), Rachel Potthoff (Robbie) and James Wilson (Annaleigh); and his great grandchildren, Chessie Dowdy, Ethan Quirk, Owen Quirk, Brody Ahl, Bailey Ahl, Ellis Smith, Parker Wilson-Fields, Miles Wilson-Fields, Olivia Wilson, Foster Wilson, Rudi Rose Wilson, Wilson Payne, Jack Payne, Charlotte Payne, Laurel Wilson-Fletcher, Timothy Wilson III and Baby Jane Wilson. He was also cherished by family members include two of six siblings, five children, thirteen grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Covenant Place Life Enrichment Center (2825 Carter Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
