She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Clarke Bynum; her parents, Louise Paty Lanius Cooke and Paul Fisher Lanius; her son Henry Clarke Bynum Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Louise Lanius Smith, William Robert, Neal Frazier and Paul Fisher Lanius.
She is survived by: her children, Louise Lanius Bynum Mitchum (Robert "Eddie" Mitchum) of Concord, NC. and Edward Kennedy Bynum (Yvette Dibrell Bynum) of Sumter; her daughter-in-law Mary Lynn "Sissy" Satcher Bynum of Columbia; her grandchildren, Kellie Mitchum Davis (Jeremy), Satcher Bynum Armstrong (Branford), Henry Clarke Bynum III (Stephanie), Ann-Lanius Bynum Noblitt (Matt), Benjamin Wright Bynum (Lindsay), Edward Kennedy Bynum, Junior, Ellis Roberson Bynum and Lottie Marie Bynum; and her great grandchildren, Adelaide Mitchum Davis, Radford Thomas Davis, MaryClarke Morgan Armstrong, William Branford Armstrong Jr., Oliver Henry Armstrong, Abigail Burke Bynum, Eliza Lyn Bynum, Charlotte Clarke Bynum, Willow Hope Noblitt, Naomi Grace Noblitt, Isaiah JaKori Noblitt, Emilia Elizabeth Bynum and John Edwards Bynum.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Methodist Church (5575 Lodebar Rd, Sumter, SC 29153). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at 1501 Martinville Church Rd, Sumter, SC 29153.
