He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul DeWitt, Sr. and Etoail Timmons DeWitt; and his brother Robert Stevenson "Steve" DeWitt. He is survived by: his son Kevin DeWitt, Sr. (Sara); his siblings, Myrtle Ann DeWitt and Walter Matthew DeWitt; and his caregiver Angela Timmons. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sumter Cemetery (700 W Oakland Ave, Sumter, SC 29151).
